The September 2004 Wedding Page
26th - 30th September
I'm told that Suzanne's mother is going to be making the Wedding dress, and it's going to have
beads on it. Not sure how it's going to look, and I'm guessing I don't get to see it until the day
itself. We've worked out the logistics of getting key family members over from the UK, which is
only going to be my mum, stepfather and my best man Mike. I think the plan is going to be get the
family over a week early so that they can see CA, and then go to Indiana with them. They can
then leave from their to go back to the UK. I'm thinking it might be cool to get Mike and his other
half to fly direct to Indiana for the wedding and then take them to CA afterwards to take them
around. I'll have to discuss it with Suzanne and see what she thinks.

12th - 18th September
So it's funny how much things change in just a week. Now being a guy, I wasn't really going to
spend much time thinking about the wedding until after New Years. Of course, I should have
guessed that Suzanne wasn't going to wait around and would want to have things ready to save
time and money later on. So, this is what we have so far:-
Not bad for our first week engaged, eh? :)
So it's funny how much things change in just a week. Now being a guy, I wasn't really going to
spend much time thinking about the wedding until after New Years. Of course, I should have
guessed that Suzanne wasn't going to wait around and would want to have things ready to save
time and money later on. So, this is what we have so far:-
- Wedding date is 15th October 2005
- We already have one book on the subject, and more are coming
- We have a bunch of different Excel, Word and PDF files to help with the organizing, costs,
guest lists, invites blah blah - Being held at the Hines farm pond/lake
- The guest list is already just under 200 people (and more are being added everyday)
- As it's the fall, there will be Autumny table decorations
- Some variation of the color red for the brides maids dresses
- TwoBirdAndABus are going to be our shuttle service
Not bad for our first week engaged, eh? :)

5th - 11th September
I proposed to Suzanne on the 10th, and she said 'yes'! I'm really happy, I can't wait to get
married. I guess it'll be next year some time, and probably be in Indiana. Suzanne has wanted to
be married by the pond, she and her friends have partied around as kids. It also happens to be
owned by her sister (Terry) and Patch, so hopefully they'll let her use the pond.
I figure that as time goes on this page will end up taking a lot of my focus. So, I figure it's best to
give this a page of it's own and watch it grow.
